Somers Fishing was opened in 1951 by Jim Somers on Thistle Street in Aberdeen. Somers was the manufacturer of the famous Grant Vibration Green Heart Rod, which at the time was “the best rod to have”, but as times move on so does tackle, and can boast stock from all major brands.
Somers now based in Bon Accord Terrace in Aberdeen have utilised every inch of space, and cater for all angling needs, Salmon, Trout, Coarse & Sea fishing along with a substantial fly-tying selection, not forgetting clothing and waders.
